Heatless Regenerative Desiccant Air Dryer
Ingersoll Rand Heatless Regenerative Desiccant Air Dryer series blast heating desiccant dryer achieves high efficient drying of compressed air with great loss reduction and energy saving.
1)Compressed air with micro positive pressure discharged from the blower is heated by external electric heater before entering the regeneration tower for absorbent regeneration;
2)After heating regeneration for a period of time, turn off the heater and discharge cold air from the blower for regeneration & cooling;
3)When the temperature in the adsorption tower drops to a certain point, use the dry air at the operating tower outlet for cold blast regeneration in the regeneration tower (when partial compressed air after drying is consumed, with regeneration air consumption ≤3%), and for final absorbent regeneration and activation in the regeneration tower;
4)When no high quality outlet air is required (e.g. atmospheric dew point ≤-40°C) or ambient temperature is low, only use the blower for cold blast regeneration with no need to introduce dry air at the operating tower outlet, resulting in no regeneration air consumption (=0).
